Diamondbacks' Kelly Johnson hits for cycle

Baseball Betting Lines

07/24/2010 - Phoenix, AZ (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Kelly Johnson became the fourth player in team history to hit for the cycle Friday against the Giants.

Johnson homered in the first inning and was hit by a pitch in the third. However, he hit a ground-rule double in the fifth, tripled in the sixth, then laced a single into right field in the eighth to complete the cycle.

Stephen Drew was the last Arizona player to hit for the cycle, doing so in 2008. Greg Colbrunn (2002) and Luis Gonzalez (2000) also recorded the feat for the Diamondbacks.
