Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Boston Red Sox center fielder Coco Crisp left Wednesday's game with discomfort in his left hand. Crisp started the contest in center, but was pulled prior to his third-inning at-bat in favor of Brandon Moss with the Sox leading 4-1. Moss followed with a two-run single which pushed Boston's lead to five. Moss was positioned in center field for the bottom of the inning.

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Boston Red Sox placed starting pitcher Bartolo Colon on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday due to stiffness in his back, an injury he suffered while swinging and missing during an at-bat on Monday. The 35-year-old righthander left Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after the fourth inning due to back stiffness. He swung so hard and missed on a pitch from Philadelphia's Cole Hamels in the second of his two strikeouts that his helmet fell off.
